SCSS is now standard in rails. I previously have not used SASS because I don't particularly care for significant white space. However, now having use SCSS just a little I know that I should have been on this bandwagon a long time ago. Here I'll how to use ruby to define your own functions and then how to write a dynamic CSS grid using SCSS.
